The Grom Project :: Surfing to Save Society

The Grom Project Inside Edge programs engage kids in interactive sessions that help them develop to their full potential. We provide first-class training for young competitive athletes.

We offer a series of hands-on, interactive workshops that help young athletes get familiar with important information they'll need to succeed as they progress in the world of competitive surfing.

From Nutrition to Physical Training to Health Insurance, we cover topics that help each individual have his or her best shot at becoming a professional athlete from a personal management and training standpoint.

Topics include, but are not limited to: nutrition, athletic training, competition strategy, sports psychology, travel and cultural learning, money management, sponsor relations and managing your time and a career.

Measurable Results of the Inside Edge Athlete Development:

EXIT INTERVIEW
Each participant completes a sit-down exit interview and an anonymous one-sheeter about their Inside Edge experience.

FOLLOW-UP
Phone and/or email questionnaire both six and 12 months after participants attend their first session or workshop.

HOTLINE USE
The IE hotline is an outstanding resource for kids (and parents) to tap into for information and links to other resources around the world.
